Procedure:

1) In a mixie jar add Mint Leaves, Green Chillies, Ginger and Garlic and grind it into a fine paste.
2) Heat Ghee and Oil in a cooker.
3) Once the Oil is heated add Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Bay Leaves and sauté it for a minute.
4) Add Onion and fry till it becomes translucent.
5) Add Mint Paste and fry in a low flame for 5 minutes.
6) Add Peas and fry for 5 minutes.
7) Add Rice and sauté for 5 minutes in a low flame.
8) Add 4 cups of Water, Salt and mix well.
9) Close the lid without whistle and leave it for 20 minutes in a medium flame.
10) After 20 minutes switch off the flame, open the lid and mix well.
11) Transfer it into a plate.

12) Pudina Pulao is ready to serve.

Ingredients:

Basmati rice (soaked for 30 minutes) – 400 grams
Onion (sliced) – 2 Nos.
Mint leaves – 2 handful
Peas – 1 handful
Garlic – 6 pods
Ginger – 2 inches (chopped)
Cinnamon – 2 Nos.
Cardamom – 2 Nos.
Cloves – 2 Nos.
Bay Leaves – 2 Nos.
Green chilli – 2 Nos.
Salt as per taste
Ghee – 2 teaspoons

Oil – 6 teaspoons
