Potato (peeled & cut into small pieces) – 3 Nos.
Beans (cut into ½ inch) – 200 Grams
Onion (cut into small pieces) – 2 Nos. (for grinding)
Onion (sliced) – 1 No. (for frying)
Tomato – 2 Nos. (for grinding)
Garam Masala – Cinnamon 1 No., Cardamom – 2 Nos.
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
Chilli Powder – ½ teaspoon
Coriander Powder – 1 teaspoon
Cumin Powder – ¼ teaspoon
Oil for frying – 3 to 4 teaspoons
Salt as needed
Grind 2 onions and 2 tomatoes into a fine paste using a blender or mixie.
In a cooker add oil, once oil is heated add Garam Masala then add sliced onion. When onion turns brown add Ginger Garlic Paste and fry for two minutes. Add potato and beans and salt and stir well. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook well for 5 minutes. Add tomato and onion paste and 1 ½ cup of water and close the lid and leave for 2 to 3 whistles. Turn off the stove and your beans and potato curry is ready to serve.
