Procedure:

1) Dry roast the Oats in medium flame for 5 minutes.
2) In a cooker add Oil.
3) When the Oil is heated add Cinnamon and Cardamom then sauté for a minute.
4) Add Onion and fry till golden brown.
5) Add Ginger Garlic Paste and fry for 2 minutes.
6) Add Tomatoes, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder and cook for 5 minutes in a medium flame.
7) Add Beans, Carrot and Peas, mix it well.
8) Add soaked Split Green Gram and mix it well.
9) Add roasted Oats and mix it well.
10) Add 4 cups of water (800 ml) and Coriander Leaves, mix it will.
11) Close the lid, place the whistle and leave for 2 whistles.
12) After 2 whistles, open the Cooker lid and transfer the Oats Vegetable Khichdi into a bowl.
13) Oats Vegetable Khichdi is ready to serve.

Oats – 400 grams
Split Green Gram Dal (soaked in water) – 100 grams
Onion (sliced) – 2 Nos.
Beans, Carrot (chopped) & Peas – 40 grams
Tomato (chopped) – 1 No.
Cinnamon – 1 No.
Cardamom – 2 Nos.
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 teaspoon
Coriander Leaves – Few
Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Oil – 6 teaspoons
