Procedure:
1) In a mixie jar add Onion, Tomato, roasted Fenugreek & Cumin Seeds and grind it into a fine paste.
2) In a vessel add Oil, when the Oil is heated add Mustard Seeds. Once the Mustards Seeds crackle add Curry
Leaves, Green Chillies, Ginger Garlic Paste, Garam Masala and sauté for a minute.
3) After a minute add Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Salt and mix well and fry for two minutes in
a low flame.
4) After two minutes add grinded Onion and Tomato Paste and mix well. Close the lid and leave in a medium flame
for 5 minutes.
5) After 5 minutes add Mutton and mix well.
6) Add 200ml Water and mix well, close the lid and leave in a medium flame for 15 minutes or till the Mutton is
cooked.
7) After 15 minutes add Coconut Paste, Tamarind Pulp, Coriander Leaves and leave in medium flame for 5 minutes.
8) After 5 minutes switch off the flame.
9) Transfer it into a bowl.
10) Mutton Tamarind Curry is ready to serve.
MUTTON TAMRIND CURRY
Ingredients:
Mutton – 400 grams
Onion (chopped) – 3 Nos.
Tomato (chopped) – 2 Nos.
Coriander Leaves – Few
Coconut Paste – 4 teaspoons
Tamarind Pulp – 5 tablespoons
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 teaspoon
Mustard Seeds – 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves – 8 Nos.
Green Chilli – 2 Nos.
Fenugreek & Cumin Seeds (roasted) – ½ teaspoon each
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder – 2 teaspoons
Garam Masala Powder – ½ teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Oil – 5 teaspoons
