EGG HALWA

Ingredients

Egg – 3 Nos.
Bread – 4 Nos.
Sugar – 300 grams
Milk – 400 ml
Cinnamon – 2 Nos.
Cardamom – 2 Nos.
Almonds(chopped) – 10 Nos.
Pistachios (chopped) – 10 Nos.
Cashew Nuts – 10 Nos.
Raisins – 20 Nos.
Vanilla Essence – 1 teaspoon
Green food colouring – 2 teaspoons

Ghee – 4 teaspoons

Procedure:

1) Cut the brown edges of Bread and cut into small pieces.
2) In a bowl add Egg and Sugar and beat well till the Sugar melts.
3) In another bowl add Bread and Milk and leave for 10 minutes.
4) Heat a pan and add Ghee.
5) Add Cinnamon, Cardamom and sauté for few seconds.
6) Add Cashew and Raisins, fry till it becomes light brown.
7) Add Egg and Sugar mixture.
8) Add Bread and Milk (soaked already).
9) Cook for 15 minutes in medium flame (stir often).
10) After 15 minutes switch off the flame.
11) Transfer it into a bowl.
12) Garnish with Almonds and Pistachios.

13) Egg Halwa is ready to serve.
