CHICKEN MUGHLAI

Ingredients:

Chicken – 500 grams
Onion (chopped) – 2 Nos.
Tomato Puree – 2 Nos.
Green Chillies – 2 Nos.
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 teaspoons
Cashew Nuts – 12 Nos.
Curd – 3 tablespoons
Coriander Leaves – Few
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder – 2 teaspoons
Black Pepper Powder – 1 teaspoon
Cumin Powder – ½ teaspoon
Garam Masala Powder – ½ teaspoon
Salt – 2 teaspoons or as per taste
Oil – 4 teaspoons

Procedure:


1) In a bowl add Chicken, Salt, Black Pepper Powder and mix well.
2) Allow it to marinate for 30 minutes.
3) In a vessel add Oil.
4) Once the Oil is heated add Onion and fry for few minutes in medium flame till it turns brown.
5) Add Ginger Garlic Paste and fry with Onion for few minutes.
6) Add Chicken, Salt and mix well and fry till water evaporates.
7) Add Tomato Paste, Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Garam Masala Powder and

     mix well.
8) Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.
9) Add Cashew Nut Paste and mix well.
10) Add Curd, Coriander Leaves and mix well.
11) Close the lid and cook for 15 – 20 minutes in medium flame (stir often).
12) After 15 minutes switch off the flame and leave for 10 minutes.
13) Transfer it into a bowl.

14) Chicken Mughlai is ready to serve.
